Mzansi Tel (PTY) LTD is a Level 1 BBBEE status blacked owned and managed, South African company established to take advantage in the telecommunications space.

Our Services

Survey and design

At Mzansi Tel, we pride ourselves with our survey and design expertise. Our Design Engineers are highly skilled and have immense experience in Network planning and design. Our services include but are not limited to:

  • FTTS, FTTX, FTTB, FTTC, FTTH, GPON, OSP (Outside Plant), ISP (Inside Plant), Aerial Route, Microwave Network Design, RF Planning and Design
  • High Level Designs (preplanning of fibre network and Civil works)
  • Project Costing, and Quantifying which includes calculation of Bill of materials, Bill of Services and Bill of quantities
  • Detailed Site Surveys, which include measuring of route, documenting route environment (land surface, safety of working area and any possible concerns) and taking of pictures and compiling photo reports
  • Detailed Designs of fibre network topology, the civil route build, fibre connectivity and splice diagrams

Our Team

Mzansi Tel was founded by a team of engineers who recognized a gap in the telecommunication industry. They sort to bring a competitive edge to a highly monopolized industry through the combination of their skills and expertise.

 
  • <p>Mr. Raymond Mphana</p> <p>Raymond Mphana is a Fibre Network Planner, qualified in multi-disciplinary network planning and site planning. He is currently involved in the telecommunications industry, specifically fibre planning department.</p> <p>He started as a draughtsman at GG Civils doing MW & RF site design plans, and then advanced to ZTE Corporation as a site design engineer, where he did fibre planning for major MTN fibre project (MTN Metro Fibre Roll-out) in Bloemfontein. His duties included surveying, high level planning, Low Level Planning and As-builtFew years later he moved into Fibre to the Home (FTTH) project still with ZTE, this time the project was based in Cape Town, where his duties were site surveying, strategic solution planning for FTTH, Low Level planning (Detailed design), Asbuilt and team leading.</p>
  • <p>Mr. Mxolisi Nobela</p> <p>Mxolisi Nobela, an experienced Site Design engineer, Draughtsman and Entrepreneur. He successfully completed his tertiary studies in Multi-Disciplinary Engineering Draughting and went on to pursue a career in the telecommunication sector.</p> <p>He worked for a Fibre Planning company (Erasmas Design technologies) that had a contract with Neotel, where he received extensive knowledge in fibre optics.</p> <p>In 2014, he moved to DNA Optic Fibre Solutions, a company that specialises in the Designing and building of telecommunication Networks of the likes of MTN, Telkom, DFA and Metro Fibre (to name a few).</p>
